12km = ... $4??

Hey, we tried switching over before, but apparently we're too dumb to figure it out. At least we're in good company with Liberia and ... Burma.

Color Me Mine

At my place of employment, our main business is invitations. Sometimes, customers say 'can you make the font color to match the color of this image of a monkey playing a saxaphone?' and we say yes, and then we have to match the color just by looking at it. harder than it sounds. anyways, this pen is awesome, and we totally need it at the store. slash so i can put the pen on a leaf and color a faux leaf on a piece of paper so it looks like a REAL leaf.

Color Picker by Korean designer Jin-sun Park is a concept pen that can scan colors from anything around and instantly use the color for drawing. After placing the pen against an object, the user just presses the scan button.

The color is being detected by the color sensor and the RGB cartridge of the pen mixes the required inks to create the target color. With Color Picker, all range of artists will be able to create a more sensorial and visual insight of their surrounding nature's colors.

Am I Too Old For This?

Man, I wish I had a parent that was creative/skilled enough to do this. Perhaps I'll just have to ask any future gentlemen callers if they can turn an entertainment center into a play kitchen before things get serious.

General Announcement

Hi Folks,

I got some feedback about this hurr blog saying the comments didn't work, and that makes sense, because a) i don't comment on my own blog, so i wouldn't know and b) i haven't gotten comments since i last changed my layout - i was starting to get worried no one was reading!

Finally I found the remedy to the problem, so all should be fixed now! And I also put in little 'like', 'dislike', 'that's what she said' options as well, so you should probably utilize them!
A LOT of html and nerd research was put into it so i better see plenty of comments now!

Thanks friends! Dan Humphrey thanks you for your time.

I Don't See The Problem Here?

Today at my school, the student council is trying to raise $5000 for Haiti. They are doing so by playing the song from High School Musical in the hallways and cafeteria everyday until they get the money. FML.

The Feature Presentation Better Be Good

As previously mentioned, a few of my dear friends are getting married in the near future, which is very exciting! But as you can imagine, a lot of planning goes into the wedding, every single detail has to be hashed out and sometimes it's fun, and other times it can be a chore. Save the Date cards, for example, can be as simple as a cute card or magnet, or in my experience at a stationery store, really extravagant and unnecessary to spend hundreds of dollars on. But this couple seemed to get it right, with it being fairly cheap to produce and fun all at the same time! Thanks to my soon to be bride, Sarah, here's a Save the Date for the new millennium!

(Il)legally Download This

This song has been around for a while, but I always listen to it, forget to download it, then find it again a few months later and remind myself to download it again. In an effort to help me remember that I like this song, here is Justin Nozuka with a Jason Mraz-ish song, "After Tonight."

Fashion Faux Pas

A couple of weeks ago, designer Jean Paul Gaultier had a 'boxing-inspired men's fashion show' in which all the models were made up to appear 'battered and bloody.' Jean Paul wasn't below going with the theme himself, although he should have thought about his appearance before agreeing to take this picture with Mr. Chris Brown himself. Or better yet, maybe Chris Brown shouldn't be a guy who beats up women.

10 Year Olds Are WAY Too wise

Ten-year-old boy: Dad, why are people clapping?
Father: Because the conductor entered the stage. It's respectful.
Ten-year-old boy: I personally don't believe in clapping for someone unless they've done something.
