I'm Movin' On Up

Hi friends,

Well, I finally caved. I'm moving my blog to Tumblr - omgitstracid.tumblr.com !

I've been toying with this idea for a while now, even so much so that for the past year, I've made a pre-Tumblr that has a feed from my blog here at Blogger to my tumblr over at Tumblr. So in saying that, all my past entries will still be accessible either straight from this site, or with direct links on my Tumblr to posts over here.

But why, you ask? I feel like for me, Tumblr is so much easier to use and posting is a breeze, especially with my mild ADD and inability to remember things that happened 5 seconds ago. I'm also using this move as a revamp of I'm Asian You're Not, to make it sleeker, easier to read, and hopefully more traci/adventure related than ever before.

So from now on, I will be at omg it's traci d. Thanks for reading so far, and hopefully you'll enjoy my journey on the other side too! If you're on Tumblr, follow me and I promise to follow you back!!

ed note: For those of you who read on Google Buzz, I'm pretty sure I figured out how to set my Tumblr up so it won't change the feed. For the Google Reader type folks, I think you may have to go in and add a subscription to my new site. Basically, I'm not letting you get away from me :) Yay internetz!

The Dark Day Into Knight

On this day last year, I was on the T going home when I received a text message from Jolie saying "Heath Ledger is dead." I wanted to scream out WHAT on the T, but then I would be that girl. So instead, I rushed home to read about what happened. In the process I got 3 other texts from my friends asking me if it was true (i guess that says a lot about me, now doesn't it).

I still can't believe it's been a year since his death, mainly because i can't believe how fast the year went. But good news is that he received a great tribute by getting an Oscar nom for TDK. Obviously he's going to win, but it is definitely bittersweet. Now please enjoy a clip from 10 Things I Hate About You. Hello 1999. Nice to see you again.
