NOPE, no worries at all. My Happy Meal is one year old today and it looks pretty good. It NEVER smelled bad. The food did NOT decompose. It did NOT get moldy, at all.

This morning, I took it off my shelf to take a birthday photo. The first year is always a milestone. I gave it one of my world famous nonna hugs as we've been office mates for a year now! (Okay, maybe my sanity is in question.)

If there is one thing I think people don't do enough of, it's write letters. And I'm not just saying that because I work at a stationery store. I just love sending and receiving mail. It's the best feeling knowing that someone took enough time to write and send you a letter instead of just writing a few sentences on your Facebook wall.

Anyways, some awesome dude came up with Google map envelopes, where if you look closely, you can even see how far your letter is actually going! How awesome is that!

Let me tell you a little story called "in 2007, we made this video in an attempt to win a prize, but didn't win anything except eternal humiliation on youtube found in 2010."

In short, my friends and I made a short film called "Shameless Ambitions" a few years ago for this competition called Campus Movie Fest. Basically, you have like a week to put together this 5 minute movie. Then your school, in our case, Emerson, has a night where they show the top finalists, who then go on to the Boston finals, and the winner of that goes to Nationals. We OBVIOUSLY knew we weren't going to win, especially with the high quality and artsiness that is Emerson. In saying that, this film of ours was shot in about a 2 day span, in our Allston apartment and my old place of employment, the Lyric. The plot was simple: a behind the scenes look of an amateur karaoke competition. Now, I'm still trying to figure out if this is actually funny, or if it's only funny because it's us and our humor. You decide.

And you can decide, because IT'S ON THE INTERWEBZ. I happened to be googling myself the other night (don't lie and say you've never done it), and this new link came up that had never come up before in previous searches of myself. I clicked on it and lo and behold, there it was, our infamous campus film festival video made 3 years ago. and they decided to put it up now?? oh, and it's on YOU TUBE, WITH 45 VIEWS!!! HAHAHA AND SOMEONE ALREADY COMMENTED ON IT. I love it.

SYTYCD Video of the Day

As you may or may not know, I'm kind of obsessed with 'So You Think You Can Dance.' I figured there might be some people out there who read my blog and enjoy watching great dancers do what they do best, and do it AMAZINGLY.

Here are two former SYTYCD dancers, Ben Susak and Noelle Marsh, who were in the Top 20 and Top 10 respectively in seasons 2 & 6. Just shows you the level of competition there is on the show!! I love how this dance is performed in what seems to be a black box stage. wicked good!
