See This Now!
Traci's favorite movie of 2011 is... BLUE VALENTINE.
Ok, ok, I've only seen one other movie this year (Black Swan - which will forever haunt me, especially if I get a hangnail. EW!), and it's only the middle of January.
But if you've seen the trailer, then you'd think this movie was about the same thing I did. A couple who falls in love, and maybe hit a few rough patches on the way. I guess, at the core, it is a love story, but it's so much more than that. It's touching, it's comical, it's heartbreaking, but most of all, it's real. After leaving the theater, I gave it like 2.75 stars, but the more I think about it, and the dynamics of the movie, it's more like a 4.5-4.75. (Some scale I got, huh?)
Anyways, Ryan Gosling's and Michelle Williams' characters' song is a tune called 'You and Me' by Penny and the Quarters. Such a great throwback song to probs my favorite music era, the 60s/motown, and it's such a perfect fit for the film. lovelovelove.

I Saw It In A Nickelodeon Once, and I Always Wanted To Do It
In 6th grade, I was one of those 12 year olds who was completely obsessed with Titanic and Leonardo DiCaprio. Like I have the Titanic script and used to follow along with it whilst watching the 3 hour and 17 minute film. True story. So it makes me happy when I see things like this in 2010. Enjoy.
Jack & Rose thank you for your time.

OH MY GOD JON HAMM I LOVE YOUR WORK!
I can't take credit for the following pix, a lot of users on ONTD posted them when the past season of Mad Men was on, but they resurfaced and I thought I'd share them with you. No spoilers, but just a warning that this would clearly be more entertaining if you are a Man Men viewer (and Mean Girls fan)!

Out of Character
Empire Magazine recently did a spread recreating famous movies throughout the past few years. The cool thing is that they did it with some of the main characters, sans costumes, but with a simple prop or set. Pretty cool. They should have done Titanic. Then it would be complete.
But Arnold is the best.
