'Traci Likes This'

Whether we realize it or not, Facebook has taken over our lives. At a recent reunion with old friends, we were discussing how FB effects how we react in certain situations. For example, if you meet a guy and he tells you to look him up on Facebook, you know you've got some research to do, and everything listed on there will determine if you contact him or not. Does he have a profile picture or is it just a silhouette of Mark Zuckerberg? Does he have favorite books listed, does he know what books are? And if you're a fan of "BOOBS!" a future together does not look likely.

Some FB nerds have taken it upon themselves to delve deeper into the intricacies of FB and how it translates into normal life. Such is that phenomenon called "The Post-Breakup Facebook Effect". How many times have you gone through your news feed only to see that someone is either now "In a Relationship," or "Single." The latter coming up on the news feed is even more horrific [read: entertaining] as people tend to respond to the recent happenings right there on the original poster's wall! Here are some entertaining P-B FB examples, and why I stand by the fact putting any kind of relationship on FB is a recipe for disaster.
